Guild is hiring for a Lead Workforce Optimization Analyst. The Lead Workforce Optimization Analyst specializes in optimizing workforce strategies and enhancing operational efficiency through advanced staffing forecasts and workforce management innovations. This lead analyst not only delivers insightful data analysis and actionable recommendations but also excels in project leadership and management. They scope, prioritize, and align complex, cross-functional projects with organizational goals, ensuring resource optimization and timely delivery. By facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and managing competing demands, this role drives the adoption of best practices in data visualization and analysis. The ideal candidate seamlessly integrates strategic planning with day-to-day operational demands, excelling in mentorship and innovative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions, methodologies, and toolkits to streamline data integration and analysis processes. Establish and refine best practices for enhancing data quality and infrastructure, and create reusable frameworks that drive efficient and consistent analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address analytical needs and innovate solutions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights to support critical business decisions and major projects by analyzing complex operational issues, proposing innovative solutions, and influencing senior leaders.
  • Establish team standards for best practices in data visualization, enabling the team to deliver insights in visually compelling and easily interpretable formats. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure tools are optimized to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead stakeholder management efforts by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and ensuring alignment between stakeholder expectations and project or organizational goals.Serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership and external partners to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and execute strategic initiatives by aligning departmental objectives with overarching organizational goals, ensuring measurable outcomes and long-term impact.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts by providing technical expertise, sharing best practices, and fostering professional development to build team capabilities and ensure high-quality analytical outputs.
  • Scope, prioritize, and lead complex, cross-functional projects, aligning them with broader organizational objectives and facilitating resource allocation. Ensure timely delivery while managing competing demands and understanding upstream/downstream impacts.
  • Develop and continuously refine forecasting models and staffing strategies to support both front office (Member Support) and back office (Member Administration) teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Lead projects focused on monitoring workforce behavior, driving efficient staffing, adherence, utilization, and productivity. Manage staffing levels against capacity planning metrics, aligned with Department Directors and Operations leadership.

Experience

  • Strong project management experience, including scoping and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior leadership and influence decision-making through storytelling and data visualization
  • Experience mentoring or leading analysts, with a passion for coaching others and cultivating high-performing teams
  • Technical fluency in tools such as SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar, with experience building reusable frameworks or toolkits for scalable insights
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse perspectives and manage competing priorities to drive strategic outcomes
  • Track record of developing and implementing best practices for data quality, infrastructure, and analytical consistency
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to build, evaluate, and improve forecasting models and staffing strategies across multiple operational functions
  • Experience in workforce management or capacity planning, ideally within high-volume service or support environments

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $130,000 - $160,000, and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
