The Product Marketing team uses creativity, market research, and insights to optimize and inspire marketing efforts and roadmaps for products across Snap Inc. This team of Product Marketers works in a highly collaborative environment to deliver go-to-market efforts and strategies to demonstrate the role that Snapchat plays in the lives of our community and helps businesses grow.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Director to join our Revenue Product team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Product Marketing for Snapchat’s Brand focused advertising solutions 

  • Manage a team of Product Marketing Managers who focus on the full suite of Snapchat’s Brand Focused advertising products

  • Lead Snapchat’s Brand revenue growth strategy working closely with XFN partners across sales, product, marketing science, business operations and planning

  • Lead the Brand PMM team in collecting, synthesizing, and sharing advertiser feedback on new feature requests and on the performance of existing features, directly influencing the Brand product strategy and roadmap

  • Meet regularly with Sales, Advertisers, Marketing Science, Solution Engineers, and Customer Support to share Brand product updates and insights and to identify challenges and opportunities to improve our products and processes

  • Deliver Brand Product revenue via internal and external marketing efforts planned and executed to a very high standard by the Brand PMM team 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of Brand Advertising, ideally from leading product marketing teams focused on brand advertising solutions 

  • Proven ability to set product & business vertical strategies, to bring cross-functional partners on side and execute delivering significant results 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying market opportunities and influencing product roadmap to maximize impact

  • Demonstrated comfort dealing with ambiguity and making quick decisions based on best information available

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail and ability to understand and communicate a complex and nuanced technical space

  • Expertise in cross-functional collaboration working across Product, Engineering, and Sales teams within the company and across partner organizations

  • Self directed with ownership mentality and bias towards action 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or other relevant digital marketing/sales work

  • 5+ years of people management experience including hiring & managing reorganizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in Product Marketing or leading product strategy for advertising products at scale in a tech company 

  • Direct experience in the digital advertising industry preferably with brand advertising experience 

  • Global scope

  • Advanced Degree (e.g. MBA) in Business or related field

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $303,000-$455,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $288,000-$432,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $258,000-$387,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
